Autobiography

Before University

I was born on “the day of knowledge” (which is celebrated on September the 1st as the governmental holiday of the USSR and Russian Federation since 1984, on the basis of the USSR Supreme Council Presidium Decree from 01.10.80 # 3018–Õ (Of festive and memorable days) in wording of the USSR Supreme Council Presidium Decree from 01.11.88 # 9724–XI(Of the USSR legislation alteration concerning the festive and memorable days) in 1986,in Donetsk (the USSR). I was given a name Stanislav (Stas), but as it appears, no one calls me this way, everyone calls me Slavik. My first steps I made exactly one year after my birth. I didn’t really like to talk much, as everyone spoke a lot, while I just pronounced separate words. That’s why I kept silence till I learned to compose short sentences.

I didn’t go to the kindergarten, spending my time at home with my granny and sister, who’s 2 years older than me. As I turned 7 I went to school. I studied well, almost excellent. I say “almost” because I always had “4” for Russian. I was registered in the bank of the gifted children as I was regularly high on the list in regional math competitions. I didn’t like school that really, that’s why I entered Donetsk lyceum called “Intellect”. During the 9th form I studied in a economic bias class but my 10th and 11th classes were ones with the advanced study of the information science. The “Intellect” lyceum is the wonderful educational institution, where I found friends and acquired knowledge. In lyceum I kept being among first in city competitions, but in another subject- information science.

Before entering the University I managed to attend such groups and sections: ”Young chess player”(2 years), “Rondo”-classic guitar studio(5 years), Opened Math College (OMC) -3 years, Internal- distance school “Erudit”- information science section.

University

By the end of the 11th form a difficult question arose. It went about the choice of the University. I was confronted with quite a dilemma: Donetsk National Technical University or Moscow Institute for Physics and Technology, and after I took the 2nd place in the outgoing competition, held by the Moscow State University one more point for consideration was added to the list-the Faculty of Calculus Mathematics and Cybernetics of the Moscow State University. I chose Donetsk National Technical University, where I found some advantage over the Moscow Universities. The first year seemed to pass easily and quickly to me. After finishing it, with “5” as average pass mark I entered the German Group. Starting with the second course I understood that the sub-faculty where I studied is deeply stuck in 80s. That’s why during my University years I tried to acquire new knowledge, which wasn’t provided to us by our sub-faculty. I successfully took a course of «Linux» (Donetsk National University, 9 months), «Java» (1,5 year), German Language Course( First Foreign Languages State Courses), and English Language Course(Centre of Foreign Languages “Polyglot”). I took part in multiple Programming Contests, held by our University (in 2005 I took 3rd place of 1/4 of final of the Programming Competition of Ukraine). After finishing the 3rd year I earned the DAAD scholarship, which provided me with 3 weeks of language probation in Bielefeld, Germany. You may see the trip photos here (link). After I finished the 4th year I earned another DAAD scholarship for 3 weeks of group professional probation in Stuttgart.

After University

In the field of professional activity I would like to master several new technologies and to improve my knowledge of German and English. It would also be great to found an interesting, high-paid job with the opportunity of professional development and career growth.ðîñòà.
